Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tony Flash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Anderson! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Flash. Tony Flash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anderson misses with a series of wild punches.
Anderson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Flash misses the jab. Flash shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Anderson eats them both and turns towards Flash to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Brandon Anderson has been cut. Anderson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Anderson slips a straight right by Flash. Anderson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anderson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Flash is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Anderson. Flash throws a looping overhand right but Anderson ducks down to avoid it. Anderson misses with a double jab.
Anderson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Flash eats them both and turns towards Anderson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Tony Flash has been cut. Anderson misses with a wild body shot. A big right from Flash misses. Flash jabbing away but nothing is landing. Anderson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flash looks to land a combination but Anderson avoids it well. Anderson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Flash lands the left hand. Anderson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flash manages to avoid it. Flash thows a left - swing and a miss! Anderson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Anderson is rocked! Anderson misses with a wild combination.
A clash of legs there as Anderson blocks the low kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Flash lands a left and a right that send Anderson crashing to the mat, dazed. Flash thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Anderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Flash finish him? Flash throws a looping overhand right but Anderson ducks down to avoid it. Anderson misses with a series of wild punches.
Anderson walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Flash swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tony Flash! After the fight, Tony Flash was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
