The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Abahalani Kampur connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Donnely sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Abahalani Kampur's guard.

A determined Jez Donnely didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
