Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Anka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden has chosen Pride as his entrance music. Tyler Durden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kalle Anka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Durden!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Durden throws a low kick but it's checked well by Anka.
Durden slaps away a takedown attempt from Anka, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Durden with a hook.
Durden throws a leg kick which misses Anka's front leg but catches the back leg as Anka tries to avoid it.

Durden clinches.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Anka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Durden throws a looping overhand right but Anka ducks down to avoid it.
Durden throws a head kick but Anka moves out of range.
Durden keeps the fight on the outside.
Anka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Anka throws a head kick that misses.
Anka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durden pinned against the cage. Durden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Anka tries to clinch but Durden is having none of it.

Anka will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Durden stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Durden wants it to stay on the feet.
Durden connects with a leg kick. Anka looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Anka is looking to clinch but Durden is avoiding it.

Durden displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Anka.

Durden closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Anka has Durden pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Anka pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Durden tumbling to the mat - Anka dives into Durden's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Anka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Anka gets to his feet - Durden follows without any prompting.

Anka shoots in but Durden avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Durden lands with a slapping head kick.

Anka scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Durden tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Durden is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Durden tries to hold on but Anka pushes him away.
Anka looking to control but Durden is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Durden is wriggling around trying to escape.
Anka throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Anka breaks from Durden's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Durden is desperately trying to improve his position but Anka has a good base and remains in mount.
Anka trying to control but Durden is having none of it.

Anka lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Durden hang on?

Anka gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
A solid body kick from Durden.
Durden circles away from the clinch attempt.

Anka gets tackled into the cage by Durden. Durden maintains the clinch.
Anka is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Durden pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Anka is trying to break the clinch but Durden has him pressed against the cage.
Durden throws an elbow but it's blocked.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Durden just misses with a elbow thrown towards Anka's brow.
Anka blocks an elbow strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kalle Anka will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


Anka just misses with a punch to the body.
Durden connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Durden lands a nice shot to the body.
Durden lands a jab to the nose.

Anka scores with a takedown into Durden's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kalle Anka has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Durden gets caught napping as Anka dives in and scores a takedown. Durden manages to retain guard.

Anka stopping the sweep attempt from Durden.
Durden bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anka's guard.
Anka controls Durden momentarily but Durden frees himself.

Anka is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Durden defends well.
Durden trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Durden would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Anka working a defensive guard but Durden manages to pass into side control anyway.

Anka manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Durden wants to get back to his feet.
Durden is in trouble now - Anka has advanced to mount!
Anka wants to control the pace but Durden is squirming around nicely.
Durden reaches up to try and control the position but Anka seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Durden rolls and tries to escape and now Anka has his back!
Durden is keeping busy.
Durden trying to control but not successfully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Durden wants to get back to his feet.
Durden is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Anka.

Anka throws a sloppy head kick and Durden moves out of range easily.

Anka closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Durden's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Durden avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anka sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Durden is looking to stand up but Anka isn't so interested in that idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kalle Anka dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Durden connects with a body shot that sends Anka's belly button to the back.
Anka shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Durden as he jumps to the side.
Anka tries to clinch up but Durden circles away and keeps his distance.

Anka takes one to the chin there.
Nice defenses there by Anka.

Durden lands a big head kick that sends Anka to the canvas! Durden follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
