Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilkka Mursu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Cesar Caprillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mursu comes to the cage accompanied by Someday I'll be the Champ. Caprillo has chosen The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Ilkka Mursu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ilkka Mursu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ilkka Mursu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caio Cesar Caprillo! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mursu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Caprillo's half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Caprillo wants to improve his position but Mursu is controlling well.
Mursu drops an elbow to the side of Caprillo's head. Caprillo is holding on to half guard well. Mursu is looking to advance position but Caprillo won't allow it. Mursu misses with a head shot. Caprillo uses the momentum to regain guard. Mursu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Caprillo working for a triangle but Mursu defends it easily.

Mursu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mursu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mursu drops back looking for a leg! Caprillo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Caprillo manages to kick Mursu off! Mursu jumps back into Caprillo's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mursu landing with the ground and pound. Caprillo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. That was a close round but I would say that Ilkka Mursu will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Caprillo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mursu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mursu slips a foot under and gets full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Caprillo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Caprillo with a poor takedown and Mursu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Caprillo won't be happy with that. Mursu in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Mursu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Caprillo down.

Mursu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mursu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Caprillo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Mursu is trying to work for a kimura but Caprillo is defending well.

Caprillo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Ilkka Mursu is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mursu wants to control from the top but Caprillo keeps moving. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caprillo controls Mursu momentarily but Mursu frees himself. Caprillo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mursu kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Mursu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Caprillo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mursu has managed to get both his arms back between Caprillo's legs - danger averted. Mursu trying to control but Caprillo is working from the bottom. Caprillo trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Caprillo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mursu is one step ahead there. And that's the end of the fight! Ilkka Mursu showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mursu, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
