Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ati Kon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Przemyslaw Micun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Micun is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fort minor- Remember my name. Przemyslaw Micun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ati Kon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Przemyslaw Micun! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Micun tries to clinch up but Kon circles away and keeps his distance. Kon looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Kon shoots in looking for a takedown. Micun tries to sprawl out of it but Kon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Micun manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Micun should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Micun throws a sloppy head kick and Kon moves out of range easily. Micun misses with a jab, cross combination.
Micun throws a head kick that misses. Horrible takedown by Kon or perhaps it was just good defense by Micun which made him look bad. Micun throws a head kick that misses. Kon moves out of range of the body kick. Micun clinches up against the cage. Micun's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Micun rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Micun misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Micun displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kon. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ati Kon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kon slips a jab and a cross from Micun.
That's one minute gone in the round. Micun throws a right and a left that Kon avoids nicely. Kon avoids the head kick by Micun.

Micun has closed the distance and engaged Kon in a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Micun throws an elbow but misses. Micun slowing the pace effectively. Micun gets underhooks to prevent Kon's takedown attempt.

Kon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Micun can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Micun stands up from Kon's guard - Micun perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kon shoots in but Micun avoids the takedown attempt easily. Micun throws a sloppy head kick and Kon moves out of range easily. Kon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Micun circles away quickly and effectively. Micun throws a front kick that sends Kon stumbling back into the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Kon blocks a head kick by Micun.
Micun throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kon tries to clinch but Micun is having none of it. Micun swats away the attempt to clinch by Kon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Micun instigates a clinch. Micun pressing his opponent against the cage. Micun throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kon is trying to stall.

Kon manages to pull guard.
Micun decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kon. Micun is looking to clinch but Kon is avoiding it.

Micun keeps Kon at a distance using the push kick. Micun misses with a series of wild punches.
A head kick by Micun misses and Kon counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kon closes the distance and clinches up with Micun, looking for a takedown. Kon pushes Micun against the cage but Micun circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Micun tries a head kick but it misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Micun. Przemyslaw Micun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Micun pushes Kon up against the cage in a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Micun as Kon tries to tie him up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Przemyslaw Micun dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Kon fails with a takedown attempt. Kon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Micun throws a series of punches but Kon avoids them all with ease. Micun misses with a jab, cross combination.
No joy there for Micun, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Some wild striking there from Kon.
Micun rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kon scores with a takedown into Micun's guard. Kon wants to control from the top but Micun keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Micun wants to stand and escape but Kon is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Micun wriggles free and stands up. Kon works over Micun's head and body with a nice combination. Micun scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Micun is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Micun throws a head kick but Kon moves out of range.
Kon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Micun keeps working. Kon works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kon is looking to take a break and control but Micun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Micun is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kon is controlling him well. Kon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kon has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. This has been an exciting period of action! Kon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Micun rushes Kon and presses him up against the cage. Micun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Micun tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ati Kon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kon clinches. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Kon blocks an elbow strike. Kon trying to land knees to the body.

Kon wants to sweep here but Micun controlling him for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kon wants to stand but Micun is controlling the position. Micun wanted to stand there but Kon had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Przemyslaw Micun will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Kon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Micun will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kon staggers backwards, shaken. No luck for Kon with that takedown attempt. Micun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. No joy there for Micun, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Kon counters with a stiff right hand. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kon fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ati Kon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Micun avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kon. Micun throws a sloppy head kick and Kon moves out of range easily. Kon thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Micun if he has to take too many more of those.
Przemyslaw Micun is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kon. Kon has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Micun. Kon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kon is keen to just control but Micun is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Micun has one foot on Kon's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Micun throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kon counters with a flying knee. Nice. Kon avoids a kick to the body.

Micun keeps the fight on the outside. Kon tries to close the distance and clinch but Micun swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Micun but Micun pushes him off and we're back to square one. Micun throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Kon scores with a one two! Micun had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Micun tries to bum rush Kon with a series of wild strikes but Kon uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kon moves out of range of the body kick. Micun tries a head kick but it misses.

and Kon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Micun's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Micun pushes Kon off and scrambles back to his feet.

Przemyslaw Micun is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kon shoots in looking for a takedown. Micun tries to sprawl out of it but Kon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Micun manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Micun throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kon throws a head kick that misses. Ati Kon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Micun throws a head kick but Kon moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ati Kon. I think Micun has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
