Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yaro Inoichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Euthanasia Atheist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atheist keeps the fight on the outside.
Atheist throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Inoichi's waist but Inoichi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Atheist off to one side.
Inoichi moves into the clinch successfully.

Inoichi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Atheist gets to his feet - Inoichi follows without any prompting.
Atheist shoots for a takedown but Inoichi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Inoichi feints and as Atheist raises his hands in defense, Inoichi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Inoichi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Atheist is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Inoichi tries to bum rush Atheist with a series of wild strikes but Atheist uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Inoichi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Atheist has one foot on Inoichi's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Inoichi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Atheist's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Inoichi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Atheist was covering up waiting for the punch and Inoichi finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Inoichi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Euthanasia Atheist has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Atheist shoots in looking for a takedown. Inoichi tries to sprawl out of it but Atheist keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Inoichi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Yaro Inoichi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yaro Inoichi.
Well Inoichi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
