Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel James Crawford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Ananias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Daniel James Crawford.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Crawford dives in and grabs Ananias's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ananias pushes down on Crawford's head and hops out.

Crawford is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ananias's half guard.

Ananias is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Crawford gets his way!

Crawford has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ananias has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Crawford throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ananias stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ananias lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crawford circles away quickly and effectively.
Crawford gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ananias throws a shot from downtown. Crawford moves away and avoids it.
Ananias throws a right hand that Crawford ducks under and follows up with a left that Crawford also avoids with ease.
Crawford is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Crawford shoots in looking for a takedown. Ananias tries to sprawl out of it but Crawford keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ananias manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Crawford takes one to the side of the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ananias will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jose Ananias comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
