Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and That Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Guy's choice of entrance music: Walk by Pantera. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drake closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Drake throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Guy trying to control but Drake postures up.
Drake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Drake winds up and cracks Guy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Drake lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Drake thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Guy is doing well to control the position and prevent Drake from advancing to side control.

Drake working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Drake postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Guy looks a forlorn figure.

Guy is looking to improve his position but Drake isn't that keen on the idea.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Drake fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Guy to the ground. Drake is now in Guy's guard.
Drake is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Guy can't keep his opponent in guard - Drake advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Guy is trying to control but can't.
Drake thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Drake.
Drake frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Guy is bucking up trying to escape but Drake cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Drake can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guy is looking to escape.

Drake with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Nathan Drake overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Drake breaks from Guy's wrist control and lands an elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Guy has left one of his arms exposed and Drake doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Guy screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
