Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Wood! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood is trying hard to land a takedown here. Miller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wood feints and then cracks Miller's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Miller down. Nice sprawl there from Miller as Wood shoots in. Miller shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wood manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Miller passes Wood's left leg - he's now in half guard. Miller is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wood can do anything to dispel that myth. Miller trying to control the pace. Wood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miller is nestled in close to Wood, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miller is figuring out what he wants to do next. Wood trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller passes the guard and advances to mount! Miller is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wood can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wood tries to lock up and control but Miller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Miller goes for an armbar but Wood turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Wood. Wood looking to sit in guard and control but Miller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Miller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wood's head. Wood should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Miller stays in close to Wood's body and controls the position. Miller slips nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miller is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wood! Miller has hold of Wood's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wood manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wood hang on?
It looks like Chris Wood has been cut. A nice elbow there by Miller.
That has opened up Chris Wood's cut even more. Miller scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The cut above Chris Wood's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Miller postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Wood badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Miller around the waist but Miller pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Miller is the winner by TKO! Miller jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Miller!
