Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Eberhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eberhart has chosen South Side as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Eberhart!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob slaps away a takedown attempt from Eberhart, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Eberhart swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Eberhart throws a right hand that misses
and Bob counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bob misses with a jab, cross combination.
Eberhart will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bob throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bob on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bob throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Eberhart showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bob.

Eberhart looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Eberhart drops back looking for a leg! Bob is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bob manages to kick Eberhart off! Eberhart jumps back into Bob's guard.
Bob seems keen to control Eberhart's posture.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bob preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Eberhart stops Bob from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Eberhart postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bob looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bob not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Eberhart drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Eberhart jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Eberhart trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Eberhart postures up in Bob's guard and throws a big left but Bob blocks it.

Eberhart drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Eberhart seems to have locked his on tight now - Bob screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Eberhart, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Andrew Eberhart!
