Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Chalas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber's entrance music is California Love. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luis Chalas! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chalas stuffs the takedown attempt from Faber. Faber gets slowly back to his feet. Chalas throws a right hand that misses
and Faber counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Faber sitting in guard, not really doing much. Chalas wants to stand but Faber is controlling the position. Faber controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Chalas wants to stand and escape but Faber is having none of it. Chalas is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
