Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Plank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Sully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sully has chosen I See You as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Plank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Sully! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sully shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Plank as he avoids it easily. Sully checks a leg kick. Sully throws a right and a left that Plank avoids nicely. Sully misses with a takedown attempt - Plank sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sully shoots in for a takedown but Plank shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. John Plank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Sully. Sully throws a jab but it's blocked by Plank. Plank displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sully. Sully misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sully gets a takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Plank gets back to full guard.
Plank looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sully is one step ahead there. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Plank is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sully wants to sweep but no luck. Plank forces his way into half guard. Plank is looking to advance position but Sully won't allow it. Sully is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sully is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sully trying to hold on to Plank's head to control him but Plank postures up.
Sully is looking for a sweep. Plank is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sully trying to control here.
Plank is looking to stall here but Sully recovers full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Plank slips nicely into half guard. Plank is looking to take a break and control but Sully is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sully looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Plank content to control rather than advance. Sully wants to get back to full guard. Plank wants to pass to mount but Sully is defending the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Plank controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sully is looking for a sweep. Plank is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because John Plank just wasn't active enough. Sully scoring well with a low kick there.
Plank misses with an attempted mid kick.
Plank gets caught flat footed, as Sully shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sully is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Sully is working Plank over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Plank looking for a sweep. Not yet Plank, not yet. Sully pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Plank is keeping the position for now. Sully lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Plank manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Plank controlling from mount. Sully keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Plank controlling the position easily from mount. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Plank trying to control but Sully is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Plank will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Sully shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Plank defends it nicely. Sully tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Plank swivels and escapes. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sully is defended easily by Plank. John Plank has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Sully. Plank misses with a hook. Sully changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Plank tries to avoid it but Sully manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Plank to the ground. Plank escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sully looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Plank is fending him off so far but Sully persists. Nope, Plank circles away and we're back to standing. Plank connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sully momentarily.
Sully scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sully is defended easily by Plank. Sully takes one on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sully throws a jab but it's blocked by Plank. Plank tries a head kick but it misses.
Sully lands with a cross. Sully has a takedown stuffed. Plank fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sully, pushing him back against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Plank just misses with a elbow thrown towards Sully's brow. Plank working aggressively here.
Sully pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sully avoids a kick to the body.
Sully takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Plank rushes Sully and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sully tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sully. Sully can't find room to land a body shot as Plank controls the action.

Nice body punch from Plank. Plank throws a head punch that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Plank creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Sully tries to throw a body punch but Plank avoids it by throwing Sully back against the cage. Plank gets through Sully's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Plank doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sully tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Plank's elbow. Plank misses with a punch on the inside.
Plank lands an uppercut. Sully is leaning against Plank and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Sully has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Plank is trying to keep an underhook but Sully manages to get the takedown into half guard. Sully tries to pass the half guard into mount. Plank knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Plank trying to hold on to Sully's head to control him but Sully postures up.
Sully sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Plank defending well though. Sully is looking for a kimura but Plank is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sully to get the leverage. Sully has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sully throws some wild stikes that Plank manages to avoid easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plank is desperately trying to improve his position but Sully has a good base and remains in mount. Sully lands a heavy elbow. Sully unloading with bombs! Sully with shots to the head and body - Plank looks very uncomfortable down there. Plank working to try and regain half guard.
Sully sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Sully misses with a head shot. Plank tries to lock up and control but Sully gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Plank is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sully is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Plank is wriggling around trying to escape.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Plank is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sully in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Sully pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sully landing strikes, looking to finish! Sully with the ground and pound from mount. Sully with a couple of short strikes.
Plank is rocked! Sully wants to finish this one by submission but Plank is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sully. Oh Plank is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sully in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Plank can't escape the position.
Sully postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Plank in real trouble here! The ref calls for Plank to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Sully! A very excited looking Jake Sully rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
