Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Christopher Chambers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Daniels!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Daniels.
A jab lands there for Chambers.


It looks like Eddie Daniels has been cut.
Chambers fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Chambers will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Daniels throws a sloppy head kick and Chambers moves out of range easily.

Chambers looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Daniels!
Daniels wants to hold on but Chambers pushes him away.
Daniels regains half guard.

Chambers gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Daniels moves into range and clinches up with Chambers.

Daniels ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Daniels no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Chambers slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Chambers is breathing heavily.
Daniels tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Daniels wants to control but Chambers postures up.
Daniels sneaks back into half guard.
Daniels is staying active underneath Chambers, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Daniels is in trouble now - Chambers has advanced to mount!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Chambers is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Daniels is trying desperately to improve position.
Daniels tries to hold on but Chambers pushes him away.
Daniels working to try and regain half guard.
Chambers tries to control but Daniels wriggling away.
Daniels sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Daniels is trying to stand back up but Chambers is controlling him
Daniels regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Chambers.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Chambers seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Chambers postures up.
Daniels is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chambers lands a couple of digs.
Chambers postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Chambers fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Daniels looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Daniels keeps the fight on the outside.
Chambers circles away from the clinch attempt

and Chambers holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Daniels shoots and misses

and Chambers counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Daniels's guard now.

Chambers is looking to take a break and control but Daniels is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Chambers wants to pass to mount but Daniels is defending the position.

Daniels has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chambers is working away from the top position though.
Chambers not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Daniels tries to keep at a distance but Chambers has taken the fight into the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Daniels drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Chambers gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Christopher Chambers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Daniels.

Daniels wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Daniels looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Chambers is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Daniels defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Daniels turns into Chambers and is now in his guard.
Daniels wants to stand and escape but instead Chambers has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Daniels is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Chambers trying to control but Daniels is working from the bottom.
Chambers is really struggling to control Daniels but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Daniels is pulling down on Chambers's head. It's preventing any offense from Chambers, at least for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Chambers misses with a takedown attempt - Daniels sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Daniels swats away the attempt to clinch by Chambers.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Chambers is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Daniels!

Chambers wants to finish this one by submission but Daniels is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Chambers.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Christopher Chambers.
Well Chambers has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
