The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salmon throws a chopping leg kick but Jones manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Salmon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Salmon.
Salmon doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.

and Salmon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Salmon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Salmon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.

Salmon tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.

Salmon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jones. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Salmon seems unphased.
Salmon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Salmon cracks Jones with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
