The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorbo shoots in but no luck this time.
Sorbo wants to clinch but MangKanor slips to the side
and MangKanor holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sorbo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
MangKanor missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Sorbo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Sorbo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for MangKanor!

Sorbo slips a nice elbow through MangKanor's hands, connecting with MangKanor's forehead.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
MangKanor moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
MangKanor throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Sorbo escapes and throws MangKanor's legs to the side, diving into side control!

MangKanor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close round but I would say that Kaleb Sorbo will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sorbo shoots for a takedown but MangKanor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sorbo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
MangKanor scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Sorbo closes the distance and clinches up with MangKanor, looking for a takedown. Sorbo pushes MangKanor against the cage but MangKanor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

MangKanor is trying to drag Sorbo to the mat but Sorbo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

MangKanor tries to close the distance and clinch but Sorbo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sorbo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
AkoSIii MangKanor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MangKanor stuffs the takedown attempt from Sorbo. Sorbo gets slowly back to his feet.
Sorbo shoots for a double leg takedown but MangKanor sprawls well. He's pushed Sorbo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
MangKanor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

MangKanor swats away the attempt to clinch by Sorbo.

MangKanor misses with a takedown attempt - Sorbo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sorbo feints and as MangKanor raises his hands in defense, Sorbo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
MangKanor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sorbo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
AkoSIii MangKanor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

MangKanor has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sorbo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for MangKanor.
Sorbo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Sorbo gets to mount! MangKanor was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Well Sorbo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
