Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy McRandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the ring accompanied by Flower lady- jerky boys. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andy McRandy!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McRandy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Harris feints a jab promting McRandy to slip. Harris then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McRandy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Harris lands a jab-cross combination.
McRandy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
McRandy scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Harris to see if he's OK.
Harris regains half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Harris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McRandy defends it easily.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Harris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McRandy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McRandy wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McRandy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Harris tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Harris has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McRandy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Harris to the mat! Harris manages to get full guard.
