The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brenner moves into the clinch. Brenner looking to throw knees to the head but Moranis is blocking nicely.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Brenner rushes Moranis and presses him up against the cage. Moranis ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Moranis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moranis has control of Brenner's left arm, preventing Brenner from doing any damage. Brenner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moranis works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Lewis Moranis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Brenner checks a low kick from Moranis. Brenner gets a clinch. Brenner tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eliah Brenner. I think Brenner has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
