Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Biffa Bacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasqs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bacon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to British Marching Tune - The British Grenadiers. Cain Velasqs will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasqs blocks a jab.
Biffa Bacon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bacon tries to clinch there but Velasqs circles away.
Bacon throws a push kick but Velasqs slaps the foot to one side.
A slapping leg kick lands for Velasqs.
Velasqs thows a body shot but no joy.
Bacon misses the body punch
and Velasqs counters with an inside leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bacon throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Velasqs takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Velasqs turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bacon looks to throw the jab but Velasqs is out of range.

The fighters circle momentarily. Velasqs darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

A looping hook to the body misses from Bacon. Velasqs does a little dance to reset his feet.

Bacon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Velasqs was well out of range. Poor timing from Bacon.
Velasqs is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close round but I would say that Biffa Bacon will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Cain Velasqs.
Well Velasqs has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Cain Velasqs was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
