Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Tatko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes to the cage accompanied by Empire State of Mind. Tatko has chosen Creatures (For Awhile)- 311 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Shawn Carter has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shawn Carter seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Tatko! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatko is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Carter clinches. Tatko lands an elbow inside. Carter gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Carter wanted to stand there but Tatko had control of the position. Tatko has control of Carter's left arm, preventing Carter from doing any damage. Carter wants to stand but Tatko has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Carter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Carter gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carter. Tatko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tatko showed some decent athleticism there. Carter wants to get back to his feet. Tatko is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Carter is trying to stand back up but Tatko is controlling him

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Carter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tatko counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Carter wants to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tatko controlling the action here. Carter wants to get back to his feet. Tatko tries to pass to full mount but Carter defends it. Carter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tatko on the ground. Carter is trying to stand up here but Tatko is controlling him well. Tatko trying to control from half guard but Carter is working away.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Carter doesn't manage to clinch there - Tatko circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carter moves into range and clinches up with Tatko. Carter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Carter drops Tatko with a left and a right! Oh, Tatko is hurt - Carter dives into side control looking to finish!
Tatko is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Carter decides to take the fight back to the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Danny Tatko will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Carter connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Tatko tumbling to the canvas! Carter pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Tatko was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Shawn Carter!
