Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Werner Pinzner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Palhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palhares has chosen Metallica - Enter Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Antonio Palhares is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinzner fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Palhares on the side of the head.
Pinzner lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pinzner.
Palhares fails with the takedown
and Pinzner counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Palhares thinking.
Palhares takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Palhares takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pinzner pushes Palhares back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Palhares's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Pinzner creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Palhares with a big uppercut! Palhares tries to clinch up but Pinzner pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Palhares to the mat! Palhares covers up and Pinzner unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
