Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Fabree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabree has chosen Flo Rida - Good Feeling as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, William McGregor! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dexter Fabree! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fabree takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. William McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McGregor gets caught napping as Fabree dives in and scores a takedown. McGregor manages to retain guard. Fabree got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGregor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fabree has managed to get both his arms back between McGregor's legs - danger averted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fabree wants to control from the top but McGregor keeps moving. Fabree makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Fabree wants to control from the top but McGregor keeps moving. McGregor can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fabree controls the pace. Fabree drops back looking for a leg! McGregor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McGregor manages to kick Fabree off! Fabree jumps back into McGregor's guard. McGregor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fabree can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McGregor tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fabree in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fabree got a little sloppy there for a moment and McGregor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fabree has managed to get both his arms back between McGregor's legs - danger averted. Fabree has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fabree loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. This has been an exciting period of action! McGregor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fabree is one step ahead there. Fabree passes McGregor's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Fabree is landing with some decent strikes but McGregor is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. McGregor is squirming around, avoiding Fabree's attempts to control the action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fabree cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McGregor is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. McGregor is wriggling around trying to escape.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McGregor manages to regain half guard. Good work. Dexter Fabree dominated that round. That's time! McGregor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McGregor throws a half hearted mid kick. McGregor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fabree circles away quickly and effectively. Fabree steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from McGregor. That one must have hurt. William McGregor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fabree decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. McGregor is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fabree pulls his head out easily. Fabree lands with a punch from half guard. McGregor is looking to control Fabree's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McGregor avoid being mounted? McGregor is pressing down on Fabree's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Fabree not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Fabree with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Fabree wants to control from the top but McGregor keeps moving. McGregor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fabree is aware though and is defending well. McGregor keeping full guard, as Fabree tries to pass.

Fabree doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fabree manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fabree wants to control from the top but McGregor keeps moving. Fabree postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Fabree pushing down on McGregor's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Fabree throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fabree wants to take a breather but McGregor is having none of it. Fabree looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McGregor with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. McGregor is not content to let Fabree control the position. Fabree is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Fabree sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. McGregor defending well though. Fabree wants to take a breather but McGregor is having none of it. McGregor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. McGregor wants to get back to his feet. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fabree in particular looking to stall. Fabree scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Fabree is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McGregor defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fabree is looking to take a break and control but McGregor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McGregor looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fabree uses his free foot to push down on McGregor's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McGregor. Fabree fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fabree with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
McGregor tries to hold on but Fabree postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McGregor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Dexter Fabree really dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McGregor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. McGregor looks to land a combination but Fabree avoids it well. McGregor lands with a kick to the temple. Fabree shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Fabree blocks a head kick by McGregor.
Fabree drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Fabree showing good wrestling skills to control the position. McGregor keeping moving, preventing Fabree from controlling successfully. Fabree cracks McGregor with a solid left hand. Fabree content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fabree controlling from the top position. Fabree has been the more effective fighter overall so far. McGregor keeping full guard, as Fabree tries to pass. Fabree wants to control from the top but McGregor keeps moving. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Fabree is posturing up here but McGregor has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Fabree tries to roll out but it's too tight and Fabree has to tap! Slick submission there by McGregor!
