Spoon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Essex counters with a crisp one two that drops Spoon! Essex thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Spoon to his feet! Spoon is in big trouble!
Spoon is rocked!

Essex scores with a shot to the body.
Spoon has his takedown stuffed
and Essex holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Essex lands a hook that snaps the head of Spoon backwards.

Oh Spoon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like James Spoon has been cut.
Spoon goes for a takedown attempt but Essex pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
