Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rip James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaely Cullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the ring accompanied by The Ultimatum. Kaely Cullen has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rip James's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
45 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rip James! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaely Cullen! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cullen cracks the inside of James's front leg. Cullen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and James has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Cullen gets a double leg takedown into James's guard. Cullen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. James swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cullen wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cullen trying to control but James is working from the bottom. Cullen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. James has momentary wrist control but Cullen slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cullen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. James keeping moving, preventing Cullen from controlling successfully. James is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cullen defends well. Cullen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cullen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cullen throws an elbow that misses. James uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cullen's guard. Nice move by James! James advances position into side control! James is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cullen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. James grinds an elbow into Cullen's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James trying to control the position but Cullen is working away. James fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Cullen tries to get back to half guard but can't. The strikes coming from James are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Cullen is not content to let James control the position. James tries to advance to mount but Cullen instead regains half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Cullen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cullen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cullen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in James's guard. Cullen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cullen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cullen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. James looking for a sweep. Not yet James, not yet. James is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. James is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Cullen as he works his way to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. James throws a big right hand that misses. James won't allow Cullen to sweep him here. James looking to pass the guard. Cullen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. James manages to get himself to full guard.
Cullen is in close to James's body, working some short punches and elbows. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James being controlled here, momentarily. James had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cullen defends it easily. Cullen preventing the sweep.
That's five minutes gone in the round. James is looking for a triangle but Cullen pushes his legs off easily.
James looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cullen is working James over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. James throws his legs up looking for a submission but Cullen uses it to pass to side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Cullen has knee on belly and moves into mount. Cullen looking to finish James with some ground and pound. This is bad for James!
That's six minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cullen postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! James is out cold - huge knockout for Cullen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kaely Cullen! Kaely Cullen retains his super heavyweight title! Kaely Cullen really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hell's Balls Recovery (160) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
