Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre The Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knockout King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knockout King will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre The Tiger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 23 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Knockout King!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Tiger lands a really nice looking cross but King seems unphased.
King throws a right hand that The Tiger ducks under and follows up with a left that The Tiger also avoids with ease.

The Tiger fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with King, pushing him back against the cage.

The Tiger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King misses with a two punch combination.
The Tiger fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
King fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The Tiger throws a head kick that misses.
King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The Tiger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says King as he avoids it easily.
Sloppy strikes from King. Those never looked like landing.
King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No luck for The Tiger with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre The Tiger. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The Tiger has King up against the cage in a clinch.
King can't break the clinch.

The Tiger manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The Tiger has a closed guard, preventing King from standing up.
The Tiger looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Tiger is trying to control the position but King postures up.
The Tiger is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because King is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The Tiger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard.
The Tiger won't allow King to get back to his feet.
The Tiger wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Andre The Tiger.
The Tiger is on the wrong end of a nice combination from King.


It looks like Andre The Tiger has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King throws a right hand that The Tiger ducks under and follows up with a left that The Tiger also avoids with ease.
Knockout King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Tiger fails to land the takedown.
The Tiger is breathing heavily.
King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
King stalks The Tiger and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into The Tiger's face. The Tiger staggers backwards, shaken.
King displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from The Tiger.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
No joy there for King, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
King connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt The Tiger! He's out on his feet! King rushes in and drops The Tiger with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Knockout King!
