Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Singer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leopold Stotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tony Singer has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tony Singer seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Singer! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leopold Stotch! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singer is looking to clinch but Stotch is avoiding it.
Singer fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Singer throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Singer thows a body kick. Stotch tries to catch it but that hurt him. Singer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stotch tries to avoid it but Singer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stotch to the ground. Stotch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Singer fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Singer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Singer stuffs the takedown. Stotch shoots in but no luck this time. Excellent takedown into side control there by Singer. This has been an exciting period of action! Singer tries to advance to mount but can't. Singer trying to control the action but Stotch is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Singer just content to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stotch wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Stotch is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Singer is looking to take a break and control but Stotch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Singer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stotch on the ground. Singer misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stotch is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Stotch sneaks out the side door and pushes Singer away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Singer stuffs the takedown attempt from Stotch. Stotch gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stotch is defended easily by Singer. Stotch fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Singer as Stotch shoots in. Singer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Stotch is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Singer asserts his dominance and retains side control. Stotch explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Singer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stotch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Singer somewhat. Singer clinches up against the cage. Stotch is working for takedown but Singer is calmly controlling the position for now. Stotch is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Singer pulls him back up using the underhooks. Singer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Singer. Singer tries to clinch up. Singer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stotch sprawls well. Stotch wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Singer gets slowly back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Singer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stotch circles away. Stotch shoots in for a takedown but Singer shows good takedown defense. Stotch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Singer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stotch somewhat. Singer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stotch with a lazy takedown attempt and Singer counters with a nice low kick that buckles Stotch's knee momentarily. Singer doesn't manage to clinch there - Stotch circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Singer dominated that round. That's time! Singer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Singer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stotch circles away. Stotch fails with a takedown attempt. Singer throws a nice outside leg kick. Singer goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Leopold Stotch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Singer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stotch's waist but Stotch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Singer off to one side. Stotch closes the distance and clinches up with Singer, looking for a takedown. Stotch pushes Singer against the cage but Singer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Singer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice sprawl there from Singer as Stotch shoots in. Tony Singer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leopold Stotch. Stotch circles away from the clinch attempt.
Singer throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Stotch's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Singer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Stotch manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singer misses with a takedown attempt and Stotch counters with a single leg into guard. Singer didn't expect that. Singer is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stotch postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Stotch chips away with some ground and pound. Singer trying to keep a closed guard but Stotch is proving a slippery customer.
Singer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Singer tries to get out of the position. Stotch is in close to Singer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Stotch is working Singer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Singer looking to control.
Stotch stands up over Singer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stotch missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Stotch is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Leopold Stotch has got the better of the ground game so far. Stotch advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singer is looking to control Stotch's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Singer avoid being mounted? Stotch is trying to control. Stotch lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Singer has hold of Stotch's hands but Stotch slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
