Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grundy Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grundy Wall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Walker! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wall thows a body shot but no joy. Walker takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Wall attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Wall takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Wall tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Walker is able to avoid easily. Wall keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wall takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Walker misses with a low kick.
Walker lands a nice looking kick to the body. Wall takes a step back to recover. Walker slips a jab from Wall. Grundy Wall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wall works Walker's body with a nice hook. Wall rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Walker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Wall misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wall misses with a right hand and Walker counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. A solid leg kick lands there for Wall.
Wall changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Wall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wall avoids the head kick by Walker.
Wall throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wall swings for the body but Walker moves out of range.

Wall scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Michael Walker has been cut. Walker lands a head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wall displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Walker is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wall. Wall scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Wall's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Wall duly obliges. Walker is still on wobbly legs! Can Wall finish him? Wall cracks Walker with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Walker looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Wall finish him?
Walker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Walker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wall gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Walker seems to have recovered his senses. A big right from Wall misses. A slapping leg kick lands for Walker.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Wall loads up on a big right hand but Walker slips the punch. Wall chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Walker can pounce on him.

Walker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wall's calf. Wall is looking to chop away at Walker's legs. Wall falls off balance throwing a combination
and Walker counters with an inside leg kick. Walker avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Walker counters with a good low kick that Wall was not able to check. Wall throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Walker. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walker moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Walker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Wall misses with a body shot
and Walker counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wall's knee momentarily. Wall takes one to the chin there. Walker throws a front kick that sends Wall stumbling back into the cage. Wall misses with a combination
and Walker counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wall's knee momentarily. Wall is breathing heavily. Wall misses with a left hand and Walker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wall takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Walker is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Wall ducks right into an uppercut from Walker. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grundy Wall dominated that round. The cut man is working on Michael Walker's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Walker thumps Wall with a low kick. Wall lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wall connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Walker's hands. Walker throws a quick inside leg kick. Wall has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Walker. Wall cracks Walker with a right hand to the side of the head. Walker throws a wild body kick that Wall sees coming a mile off. Grundy Wall is winning the standup battle so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Wall throws a leg kick and Walker counters with a solid body kick. Walker plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Walker scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Walker. Walker is looking to slow Wall down with leg kicks. Walker attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Walker throws a body punch but Wall moves out of range. Walker defending well as Wall loads up on a big left hand. Good exchange - Walker coming out on top. Wall loads up on a big right hand but Walker slips the punch. Wall throws a shot from downtown. Walker moves away and avoids it. Some wild striking there from Wall.
Wall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Walker counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Wall is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walker scores with a sloppy right hand. Wall should have avoided that one. Oh Wall is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Walker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wall seems to have got his legs back now.

Wall dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A jab from Wall misses. Walker scores with a jab. Wall acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Wall has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Walker. Walker on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wall tries to move into range but Walker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Wall will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Wall takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Walker. Wall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wall misses with a hook
and Walker counters with a head kick that wobbles Wall - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Walker sends him down. This one is all over!
