The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troy moves into the clinch.
Troy tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Troy breaks the clinch.
Troy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Morris is not content to let Troy control the position.
Morris prevents Troy from improving position.
Troy remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Morris can't do much from the bottom here.
Morris on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Morris tries to get out of the position.
Troy scoring with punches and elbows.

Troy postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Morris is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Morris knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Troy on the ground.
Morris is looking to regain half guard here but Troy keeps moving and retains side control.
Troy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Troy throws a nice looking combination but Morris bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Morris leaves Troy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The fighters circling - Morris throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Troy shoots in but Morris avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Troy gets to his feet. Morris looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Morris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Morris wants to improve his position but Troy is controlling well.
Troy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Morris keeps working.

Morris is squirming around, avoiding Troy's attempts to control the action.
Morris wants to hold on but Troy pushes him away.

Troy tries to get the hooks in deep but Morris pushed the leg off.

Troy is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Morris knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Morris for a finish.

Morris just trying to survive but Troy is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Troy keeps control of the position easily here as Morris tries to buck him off.
Troy gets his hands free as Morris looks to control.
Troy trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Morris doesn't escape.
Troy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Troy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Troy shoots in and gets a takedown into Morris's guard.
Morris lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Troy!
Morris can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Troy is looking to escape.
Troy wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Morris.
Troy tries to lock up and control but Morris gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Morris misses with a head shot.

Troy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Morris tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Morris throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Morris sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Morris throws a strike there. Troy manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Troy manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Troy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Troy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Morris is one step ahead there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Morris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Troy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bad Boy Troy Troy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Morris throws an overhand right that lands on Troy's shoulder, as Troy tries to avoid the shot.
Morris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Troy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Morris looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Morris tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Morris wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Troy just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Troy gets his hands free as Morris looks to control.

Troy patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Morris rolls, trying to escape but Troy keeps control of the position.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Troy. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Troy lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Morris hold on?!
Troy is working for a rear naked choke. Morris is not defending it well and Troy has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Morris refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Morris's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
