Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between DeAndre Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Schilling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Schilling will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Schilling!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves out of range of the body kick from Schilling.
Schilling sizes up Smith with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like DeAndre Smith has been cut.
Schilling loads up on a big right hand but Smith slips the punch.
Smith rushes Schilling and presses him up against the ropes.
Schilling tries to break free but Smith pushes him back against the ropes.
Smith turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Smith wants to control but instead Schilling manages to regain half guard.

Smith is stalling here. Schilling is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Smith seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Schilling has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
