Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dog Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munoz has chosen Mga kababayan ko as his entrance music. Mark Munoz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dog Dog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Munoz! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munoz misses with a head kick.
Dog throws a head kick that misses. Dog fails in his attempt to clinch. Munoz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dog really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dog avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dog is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Munoz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dog manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Munoz has Dog in his guard. Dog stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Munoz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Munoz uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog tries to clinch up. Munoz blocks a head kick by Dog.
Munoz moves out of range as Dog throws a body kick.
A head kick misses from Dog. Dog misses the body punch and Munoz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Munoz connects with a nice short shot to Dog's temple. Munoz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dog throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Munoz in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Dog tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Munoz!
