Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stig Toefting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asylbek Malybaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asylbek Malybaev is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Asylbek Malybaev!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toefting throws a shot to the body.
Malybaev rushes Toefting and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Toefting is trying to drag Malybaev to the mat but Malybaev just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Toefting is trying to break free.
Malybaev prevents the takedown attempt.
Toefting tries to stall but Malybaev uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Toefting letting Malybaev take a breather here.
Toefting stalling in the clinch.
Malybaev jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Toefting walks away with a smile on his face. Malybaev gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Toefting bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Malybaev's head.
Toefting just misses with a punch to the body.
Malybaev is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Malybaev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Toefting circles away.
Malybaev has a takedown stuffed.
Stig Toefting has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Asylbek Malybaev.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Malybaev walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Toefting displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Malybaev.
Malybaev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Toefting as he jumps to the side.
Malybaev throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Toefting.
Malybaev pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Toefting keeps the fight on the outside.
Toefting thuds a left hand into Malybaev's body.
Malybaev looks winded!
Toefting misses with a few strikes there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Toefting, as that shot connected.
Toefting lands with a shot to the body.

Malybaev drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Malybaev takes one to the side of the head.
Toefting pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Malybaev back to the cage. Toefting follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Toefting ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Toefting is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Toefting cracks Malybaev with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Toefting is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Toefting changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Malybaev closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Toefting counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Malybaev thinking.
Malybaev walks into a jab.
Toefting clobbers Malybaev with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Malybaev has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Malybaev there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Malybaev takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Toefting lands a really nice looking cross but Malybaev seems unphased.

Malybaev takes a jab right on the kisser.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stig Toefting dominated that round.

Malybaev is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Toefting just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Malybaev has gone limp and this one is over!
