Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abbott has chosen Killer Cuts - as his entrance music. David Abbott told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Aerts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Abbott! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aerts takes a shot right to the bread basket. Aerts misses with a body shot.
Abbott throws a push kick but Aerts slaps the foot to one side. Abbott closes the distance and clinches. Abbott tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Aerts's elbow. Aerts throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Abbott dodges an elbow strike from Aerts.
Aerts looks to throw an elbow but misses. Aerts misses with a punch to the body.
Aerts prevents a body shot from Abbott. Aerts looks to throw an elbow but misses. Abbott lands a body punch in the clinch. Abbott lands a left hand.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Aerts just misses with a elbow thrown towards Abbott's brow. Aerts throws a punch but it's blocked by Abbott. Abbott lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Aerts tries to circle away but Abbott has him pinned against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Aerts using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Abbott has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Abbott lands a nice uppercut. Abbott digs a right hand into Aerts's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Aerts's gas tank. Abbott prevents a body shot from Aerts. Aerts pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbott makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Abbott misses with a hook to the ribs.
Aerts misses with a knee strike.
Abbott lands a left hand.
Aerts doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Abbott lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Aerts backwards. A nice left hand lands by Abbott.
Abbott lands a left hand.
Abbott blocks an uppercut.
Aerts creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. A short right from Abbott.
Aerts is rocked! Abbott pushes Aerts against the cage. Abbott is working some dirty boxing. Abbott pushes off with a quick right hook! Aerts goes down! Aerts tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Abbott moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Abbott! Our winner, David Abbott, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
