Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Giljotin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Batson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giljotin's entrance music is Ticon - Miss 11 PM (DJ CHILLER REMIX 2011) . A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Giljotin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bill Batson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giljotin dives in and grabs Batson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Batson pushes down on Giljotin's head and hops out.
Giljotin ducks right into an uppercut from Batson.
Giljotin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Batson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Giljotin somewhat.
Batson misses with a body kick.
Giljotin tries to move into range but Batson moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Giljotin avoids the body shot from Batson.
Giljotin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Giljotin looks for a takedown but Batson sprawls well.

Batson throws a chopping leg kick but Giljotin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Giljotin closes the distance and clinches.
A left hand lands to the body for Batson.

Giljotin wants the takedown. Batson is fighting it off but Giljotin persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Batson's guard against the cage.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Giljotin tries to free his leg and advance position but Batson is retaining full guard.

Giljotin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Batson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Giljotin has Batson in his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Batson is looking to work some ground and pound but Giljotin has wrist control.

A decent looking cross lands there for Batson.

Giljotin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Batson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Batson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Giljotin is one step ahead there.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Giljotin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Batson.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Batson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Giljotin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Batson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Giljotin under the eye.
Batson throws a shot from downtown. Giljotin moves away and avoids it.
Giljotin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Batson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Giljotin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Batson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Giljotin.
Batson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Giljotin's sensitive parts.
