The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Marcy gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Marcy looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Marcy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Robinson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like James Robinson has been cut.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marcy thows a huge punch but Robinson dodges it nicely.
Marcy is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Marcy throwing shots but Robinson is blocking nicely.
Robinson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marcy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Marcy works his foot free and advances to mount.
Marcy landing strikes from the mount and Robinson is in trouble!
That has opened up James Robinson's cut even more.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at James Robinson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
