Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Flava Flave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Kharghai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kharghai has chosen Teflon Brothers (feat Stig & Meiju Suvas) - Seksikkäin Jäbä as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Flava Flave!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vadim Kharghai!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharghai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flave manages to avoid it.

Kharghai fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Flave sprawls well initially but Kharghai persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Flave on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Kharghai throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Flave has hold of Kharghai's hands but Kharghai slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Flave is looking for a sweep. Kharghai is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Flave is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kharghai pulls his head out easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Flave looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kharghai looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Kharghai is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Flave moves into full guard.
Kharghai wants to control from the top but Flave keeps moving.

Flave throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Flave has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kharghai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Flave is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kharghai controlling from the top position.
Kharghai tries to free his leg and advance position but Flave is retaining full guard.

Flave escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kharghai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Flave looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Flave throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kharghai postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kharghai lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Flave can't keep his opponent in guard - Kharghai advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kharghai drops an elbow to the side of Flave's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kharghai seems to be working for a kimura but Flave defends the submission attempt.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kharghai connects with a nice short shot to Flave's temple.
Kharghai is trying to control. Flave wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kharghai in particular looking to stall.
Flave tries to roll over but Kharghai keeps him under control.
Kharghai winds up and cracks Flave with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Kharghai is looking to take a break and control but Flave is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kharghai is trying to control. Flave wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Kharghai working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kharghai is trying to control. Flave wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kharghai is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.


Flave is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kharghai is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Oh Flave is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kharghai takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kharghai lands a big elbow - Flave is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Kharghai!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vadim Kharghai!
Vadim Kharghai spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
