Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carlton Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Kuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Carlton Robinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 14 - 1, fighting out of London, Kenji Kuraba! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuraba closes the distance and clinches up with Robinson, looking for a takedown. Kuraba pushes Robinson against the cage but Robinson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kuraba fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kuraba misses with a takedown and Robinson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Carlton Robinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenji Kuraba. Robinson throws a shot to the body.
Robinson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kuraba. Kuraba circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Robinson looking to score a takedown here. Kuraba is defending well but Robinson drives through and ends up in Kuraba's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Robinson wants to control from the top but Kuraba keeps moving. Robinson sitting in guard here, content to control.
We're going to have a standup here because Carlton Robinson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kuraba doesn't succeed with the takedown and Robinson counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuraba with a poor takedown and Robinson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kuraba misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kuraba takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kenji Kuraba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kuraba takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kuraba walks straight into a right hand from Robinson - that's dropped him! Robinson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kuraba from any more punishment! Kuraba complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Carlton Robinson! Carlton Robinson took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, KAISER for their support in the buildup to the fight.
