Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sean Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kings and Queens. Lee has chosen Bully from Shinedown as his entrance music. Sean Jackson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sean Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Lee! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson misses with a head kick.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jackson scores with a one two! Lee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Lee fails in his attempt to clinch. Jackson tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it. Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively. Lee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Lee persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Lee not landing any meaningful shots this time. Lee working the head and body with strikes. Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jackson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lee. Jackson is trying to get back to full guard. Jackson has hold of Lee's hands but Lee slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! Lee prevents Jackson from improving his position. Jackson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lee. Lee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lee tries to pass to full mount but Jackson defends it. Lee missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lee prevents Jackson from standing back up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lee connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple. Lee controlling the pace. Jackson trying to control from the bottom.
Jackson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lee scores with a couple of nice shots. Lee thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.
Lee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jackson sees it coming and defends easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lee wants to free his trapped foot but Jackson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Jackson trying to control here.
Jackson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily. Lee thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lee scoring with strikes to the body and head. Lee is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lee postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lee with a nice head shot there. Jackson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lee. Lee throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lee cracks Jackson with a solid left hand. Jackson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Lee with a flurry of punches that miss. Lee is stalling in the full guard. Lee throws a big right hand that misses. Lee postures up and lands a big shot to Jackson's brow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lee throws a sloppy strike and Jackson has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Lee is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Jackson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sean Jackson! A relieved looking Sean Jackson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
