Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meldrick Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson Pain could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Meldrick Taylor's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain fails with a takedown attempt.
Pain takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Pain manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Taylor on his heels. He'll look to pass Taylor's guard now, I'm sure.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Pain is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Taylor defends well.

Pain is breathing heavily.
Taylor wants to get up but he can't break Pain's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Taylor got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Taylor has managed to get both his arms back between Pain's legs - danger averted.

Taylor gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Taylor throws a good cross that connects.

Taylor closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Pain! Taylor dives in looking to finish! Pain is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
