Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Coalman Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Gaston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nick Gaston will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coalman Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Gaston! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gaston explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Gaston tries a head kick but it misses.

Gaston misses with a body kick. Gaston throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gaston throws a head kick that misses and Gracie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Nick Gaston has been cut. Nick Gaston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gaston throws a front kick aimed at Gracie's knee but Gracie avoids it well. Gaston lands a head kick!
It looks like Coalman Gracie has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gracie slips a jab and a cross from Gaston.
Gaston throws a head kick that misses. Gracie moves into the clinch. Gaston breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaston wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Gracie works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Gaston is keeping the position. Gracie trying to control but Gaston is working from the bottom. Gracie scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to control from the top but Gaston keeps moving. Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gracie is really struggling to control Gaston but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Coalman Gracie wasn't doing enough on the ground. Gracie gets a takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gracie controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Gaston tries to kick Gracie off but Gracie keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Nice strikes from Gracie there. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Gracie is looking for a kimura here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gracie wants to control but instead Gaston manages to regain half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gracie trying to control the action but Gaston is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gaston is defending against the submission attempts here by Gracie.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Coalman Gracie dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gaston gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A frustrated look appears on Gaston's face as he tries to break the clinch. Gaston tries to break free but Gracie pushes him back against the cage. Gracie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gaston pulls him back up using the underhooks. Gracie breaks from the clinch.
Gaston throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Gaston throws a head kick but Gracie moves out of range.
Gaston looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range. Gracie has closed the distance and engaged Gaston in a clinch.
Gaston wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is looking to take this one to the mat. Gracie has Gaston pressed against the cage, preventing Gaston from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Gaston is working for takedown but Gracie is calmly controlling the position for now. Gracie tries to pull guard but Gaston won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Coalman Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie tries for a takedown. No joy.

Gaston throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Gracie is trying to drag Gaston to the mat but Gaston just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Gaston tries to circle away but Gracie has him pinned against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gaston has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gracie has Gaston pressed against the cage, preventing Gaston from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Gracie keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gaston's efforts to push away. Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gaston is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Gaston can't find room to land a body shot as Gracie controls the action.
Gracie has Gaston pressed against the cage, preventing Gaston from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Gaston wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gracie has him pressed against the cage. Gaston has had enough of the clinch but Gracie keeps him there for the moment. Gaston throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Gaston. Gracie pulls guard successfully.
Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie pulls Gaston in close to prevent any damage. Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gaston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gracie looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Gaston puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie is not content to let Gaston control the position. Gaston escapes and gets back to his feet. Nice uppercut lands for Gaston. That snapped Gracie's head back.
Coalman Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gaston throws a nice outside leg kick. Gaston closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage. Gaston tries to pull guard but Gracie forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Gracie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gaston fights it off and pushes away nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A nice combination there by Gaston.

Nick Gaston showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Gaston gets off balance looking for a body kick and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control. Gracie trying to control the position but Gaston is working away. Gracie working the ground and pound but Gaston is defending the strikes. Gaston is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gracie has just dragged him back down to the mat. Gracie misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Gaston. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Gaston wants to get back to his feet but Gracie drags him back down. Gaston takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gaston is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gracie asserts his dominance and retains side control. Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaston is trying to buck Gracie off. Gracie working the ground and pound. Gaston prevents Gracie from moving into mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie just content to control the position. Gaston is pushing Gracie's head away, looking to escape. Gracie manages to hold on to the position though. Gracie postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Gracie is chipping away with strikes.
Gaston is rocked! Gracie in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Gaston looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Gracie turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Coalman Gracie! Jumping up and down and very excited, Coalman Gracie waved his t-shirt featuring Brute's logo in front of the cameras.
