Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Albers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ed Reed enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Virgil Albers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ed Reed! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Albers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reed stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A lazy left from Albers finds it's target. Reed shoots for a double leg takedown but Albers sprawls well. He's pushed Reed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice sprawl there from Albers as Reed shoots in. Albers works over Reed's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Ed Reed has been cut. Reed is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Albers. Albers swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Reed. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reed takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Reed is rocked! Reed throws a head kick but Albers moves out of range.
Reed misses with a double jab
and Albers counters with a left and a right that hurts Reed! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Albers jumps into full mount! Reed is still in real trouble! Can Albers finish him? Albers controlling from mount. Reed seems to have recovered his senses. Albers is standing up, even though he is in mount. Reed is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Albers. Reed tries for a takedown but Albers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Virgil Albers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Reed.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circling - Reed throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Reed shoots in but Albers avoids the takedown attempt easily. Reed looks gassed! Albers tests Reed's chin there with a solid looking shot. Albers thuds a left hand into Reed's body. Reed doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Albers throws a combination. Reed tries to block but a couple of punches get through. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Albers connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nice straight punches there by Albers. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Albers. Albers jabs at Reed's body. Albers lands a nice shot that snaps Reed's head back.
Albers drops Reed with a huge uppercut! Reed drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Albers is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Virgil Albers!
