Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rulon Mondello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Salcido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mondello misses the jab.
Mondello throws a head kick but Salcido moves out of range.
Mondello takes one to the side of the head.
Mondello throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mondello looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Salcido cracks Mondello with a good jab.
Mondello steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Salcido.
Mondello throws a series of punches but Salcido avoids them all with ease.

Oh Mondello is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Salcido circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Mondello to the canvas! Mondello doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Salcido keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
