Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Hunt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Lesnar. No joy for Hunt on that attempt.
Lesnar scores with a sloppy right hand. Hunt should have avoided that one.


It looks like Mark Hunt has been cut.
Hunt shoots and misses

and Lesnar counters by clinching up.

Lesnar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lesnar looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hunt throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Lesnar stands up from Hunt's guard - Lesnar perhaps looking for a knockout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lesnar feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hunt sprawling to the canvas! Hunt rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lesnar finish him?!


Hunt is rocked!

Lesnar instigates a clinch.
A short body shot lands from Lesnar as the two fighters clinch.

Lesnar turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lesnar manages to end up in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunt looks winded!
Lesnar working the head and body with strikes.
Lesnar lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hunt down.
Lesnar lands an elbow.
Hunt is still in real trouble! Can Lesnar finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.

Lesnar is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hunt is trying to escape and Lesnar transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hunt is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lesnar! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Brock Lesnar!
Brock Lesnar seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
