Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lajby Lajos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mika Selanne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Selanne.
Lajby Lajos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Selanne avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lajos lands a jab-cross combination.
Lajos tries to close the distance and clinch but Selanne swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Selanne closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

It looks like Selanne might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mika Selanne wasn't active enough on the ground.
Selanne shoots in looking for a takedown. Lajos tries to sprawl out of it but Selanne keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lajos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Lajos counters with a series of strikes. Selanne will be more careful next time no doubt.
It looks like Mika Selanne has been cut.
Selanne misses with a takedown attempt - Lajos sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Selanne shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lajos's guard.
Selanne seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Selanne tries to land knees in the clinch but Lajos avoids the damage to the body.
Lajos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Selanne is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Selanne's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lajos shoots and misses
and Selanne counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lajos won't be happy with that.
Lajos is letting Selanne control him for a moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Selanne takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
