Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Duane !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Mcintosh!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Duane scores with a head kick. Mcintosh tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Duane throws a head kick that misses

and Mcintosh counters with a shoot takedown. Duane fights it but they end up in guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Mcintosh controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Mcintosh trying to control but Duane is working from the bottom.

Mcintosh decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mcintosh tries to clinch up but Duane circles away and keeps his distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mcintosh fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Duane .
Mcintosh bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mcintosh has his takedown stuffed

and Duane counters with a shoot takedown. Mcintosh fights it but they end up in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duane trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Duane with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Mcintosh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Mcintosh uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Duane throws a leg kick that misses.
Mcintosh connects with an inside leg kick.
Mcintosh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mcintosh tries to clinch but Duane is having none of it.
Duane with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mcintosh counters with a nice body shot.
Duane is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mcintosh is looking to slow Duane down with leg kicks.

Duane shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcintosh's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mcintosh has a closed guard, preventing Duane from standing up.
Mcintosh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mcintosh can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Duane controls the pace.
Mcintosh thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Mcintosh is adopting a defensive guard.

Duane is sitting in close to Mcintosh's body. Mcintosh has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Duane is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Duane is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mcintosh.
