Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arnaud Rio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and You Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Down fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rio looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Down throws a head kick but Rio moves out of range.

Rio drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rio tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Down tries to bench press Rio off him but Rio keeps the position.
Down is not content to let Rio control the position.
Rio throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Down takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Down is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rio off and has taken his back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Down is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rio has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Down has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Rio! Can he survive? No! He's out! Down gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
