Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Leonard Christopher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Casey Ryback! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryback tries to land a leg kick but Christopher saw it coming and moves away.
Ryback fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Christopher, pushing him back against the cage. Christopher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ryback staying out of range there. Ryback tries to clinch there but Christopher circles away.

Ryback misses the jab. Ryback ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ryback throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Christopher sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ryback chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Christopher can pounce on him.
Ryback tries to close the distance and clinch but Christopher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Christopher throws a right hand that misses
and Ryback counters with a left to the body. Ryback cracks Christopher with a good jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryback moves out of range as Christopher strikes. Ryback fails with the takedown. Ryback throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Christopher's waist but Christopher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ryback off to one side. Christopher with a nice cross. Ryback moves away from the strike by Christopher. Ryback tries to clinch up. Nice body punch from Christopher. Ryback swings and misses with a shot to the body and Christopher counters with a stiff right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Ryback ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Casey Ryback seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryback blocks a jab. Ryback throws the left hand but Christopher avoids the punch easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryback tries to clinch up but Christopher circles away and keeps his distance. Christopher misses with the combination.

Christopher landing with the ground and pound. Christopher postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ryback is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ryback seems to be working for a kimura but Christopher defends the submission attempt. Christopher won't allow Ryback to pass to mount.

Ryback is pressing down on Christopher's thigh, looking to free his foot. Christopher is holding on for now. Ryback throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ryback moves nicely into side control. Ryback throws an elbow but Christopher slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Ryback seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Christopher is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Ryback tries to advance to mount but Christopher denies him. Christopher is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ryback asserts his dominance and retains side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ryback tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ryback has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Christopher is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Decent striking displayed by Ryback there. Ryback misses with a low kick as Christopher jumps back. Leonard Christopher is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Christopher attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Christopher darts in and out, connecting with a jab. A nice leg kick lands there from Ryback. Leonard Christopher is winning the standup battle so far. Ryback misses with a hook to the body

Ryback throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Christopher on the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A big left from Christopher misses. Ryback feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Christopher's calf. Christopher misses with a straight left. Christopher avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Some bone on bone action there as Christopher checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Ryback misses with a body punch
and Christopher connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ryback fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Christopher manages to avoid it. Ryback walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Christopher checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Christopher lands with a kick to the temple. Ryback shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Casey Ryback has been cut. Ryback checks the leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Christopher scoring well with a low kick there.

Ryback takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ryback slips a straight right by Christopher. Christopher circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryback fails in his attempt to clinch. Christopher is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ryback. Christopher keeps the fight on the outside. This has been an exciting period of action! Ryback shoots in for a double leg but Christopher sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ryback looks to score with a jab to the body but Christopher is just out of range. Christopher throws a nice outside leg kick. Christopher throws an overhand right that lands on Ryback's shoulder, as Ryback tries to avoid the shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ryback fails to land the takedown. Ryback wants to clinch but Christopher slips to the side and Christopher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Ryback instigates a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Christopher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The fighters circling - Christopher throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Christopher stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Christopher wants it to stay on the feet. Nice defenses there by Ryback. Ryback tries for a takedown but Christopher sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Leonard Christopher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Casey Ryback. Ryback ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ryback jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryback takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ryback tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Christopher paws at him with a jab and circles away. A slapping leg kick lands for Christopher.
Ryback slips under a jab. Good shot there by Christopher. Christopher works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Christopher lands a jab to the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ryback. Christopher does a little dance to reset his feet. A cross from Christopher lands. A nice inside leg kick there by Ryback. That's going to slow Christopher down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ryback. Christopher wants to get back to his feet but Ryback drags him back down. Ryback throws a strike aimed at the side of Christopher's head but Christopher avoids it well. Christopher is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Ryback tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ryback has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ryback cracks Christopher with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryback working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ryback is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ryback is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Christopher has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leonard Christopher. I think Christopher has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
