Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geoff Strangle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Geoff Strangle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Travis Jones! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jones throws a right and a left that Strangle avoids nicely. Strangle fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Strangle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Strangle prevents Jones from escaping the position. Strangle postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones struggling a bit here. Strangle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jones has escaped the position, nice work there. Strangle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Strangle trying to control the position but Jones is working away. Strangle is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jones tries to buck Strangle off but Strangle is having none of it. Jones gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Jones wants to improve his position but Strangle is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to control from the bottom.
Strangle is working for a submission of some sort.
Jones moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jones is looking to sweep but instead, Strangle has passed into half guard.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Strangle is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jones is holding on to half guard well. Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jones tries to roll over but Strangle keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to control but can't.
Strangle missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Strangle is working away from the top position though. Jones has his hands clasped together around Strangle's back. He's all about the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Travis Jones hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Strangle slips under a jab from Jones. Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Strangle. Jones's jab looks to have found its range, popping Strangle under the eye. Strangle with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geoff Strangle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones stuffs the takedown. Strangle shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strangle paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones throws a right and a left that Strangle avoids nicely. Strangle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Strangle is breathing heavily. Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Strangle doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Strangle thinking. This has been an exciting period of action! Strangle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones throws a head kick but Strangle moves out of range.
Strangle takes a body punch but keeps moving. Travis Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones lands a nice shot that snaps Strangle's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Travis Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones throws a head kick that Strangle semi-blocks.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Strangle fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a head kick. Strangle tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones counters by moving into the clinch. Jones tries to circle away but Strangle has him pinned against the cage. Strangle managing to block the knees to the body from Jones.
Strangle keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jones's efforts to push away. Jones wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jones has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strangle fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geoff Strangle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Strangle pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Jones tries to break the clinch but Strangle is controlling the position. Jones tries for a takedown but Strangle manages to get underhooks.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones tries to clinch up but Strangle circles away and keeps his distance. Travis Jones seems to be getting the better of the standup. Strangle gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a left to the body. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jones!
It looks like Geoff Strangle has been cut. Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Strangle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Jones.
Jones looks to land a combination. Strangle sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Strangle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Strangle throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones. Strangle shoots and misses and Strangle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jones tests Strangle's chin there with a solid looking shot. Strangle with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jones tries to clinch but Strangle moves out of range. Jones moves into the clinch. Jones drops down looking for an ankle pick but Strangle pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones stalks Strangle and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Strangle's face. Strangle staggers backwards, shaken. Strangle tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones wants to clinch. Strangle fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Strangle is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jones works Strangle's body with a nice hook. A chopping leg kick lands by Jones. Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones clinches up with Strangle and pushes him back against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones is pushing Strangle up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Jones misses with an elbow over the top. Strangle prevents Jones from breaking the clinch. Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Strangle tries to pull guard but Jones forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Jones tries to break the clinch but Strangle is controlling the position. Jones stops a takedown attempt from Strangle.

Travis Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Geoff Strangle's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Jones defending well though. Jones is trying to control but can't.
Strangle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jones gets full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is pulling down on Strangle's head. It's preventing any offense from Strangle, at least for the moment. Jones working a defensive guard here.
Strangle drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Strangle off! Strangle jumps back into Jones's guard. Strangle controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones pulls Strangle in close to his closed guard and prevents Strangle from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Travis Jones wasn't active enough on the ground. Jones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Strangle.
Strangle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Strangle off to one side. Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Strangle circles away.

Strangle is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones. Strangle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Travis Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geoff Strangle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Jones tries to clinch but Strangle moves out of range. Strangle doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Strangle. Geoff Strangle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A punch lands to the side of Strangle 's head but he takes it in his stride. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Strangle slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
And that's the end of the fight! Travis Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Travis Jones! Travis Jones really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that [WOT] DTK Designs (Laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
