The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vallefort tries to clinch but Sturlett is having none of it.
Vaz Sturlett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sturlett takes the fight into the clinch.
Vallefort is looking to break free of the clinch but Sturlett has double underhooks.
Vallefort goes for a takedown attempt but Sturlett pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Vallefort is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sturlett sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Vallefort avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

It looks like Justin Vallefort has been cut.
Vallefort drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sturlett gets the underhooks and prevents it.
