Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Jimmy Regan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Crain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Regan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Blue Suede Shoes. Crain has chosen The Roots - Kool On as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Regan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyler Crain! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crain connects with a high kick. Crain avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Regan defending well as Crain loads up on a big left hand. Regan avoids the head kick by Crain.
Crain throws a sloppy head kick and Regan moves out of range easily. Crain with a hook. Regan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Regan darts in trying to clinch and Crain counters with a nice low kick that buckles Regan's knee momentarily. Crain misses with an uppercut. Crain tries a head kick but it misses.
A low kick from Crain misses and Regan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Crain lands a nice uppercut. Crain lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Jimmy Regan has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crain softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Regan looking to slow down the pace here. Crain lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Regan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Crain's defenses.
It looks like Tyler Crain has been cut. Crain has Regan pressed against the ropes, preventing Regan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Crain works on Regan's body with a couple of short punches. Crain lands a nice elbow from the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Regan landing knees to the head.
Crain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crain cracks Regan with a good jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crain throws a leg kick that is checked letting Regan counter with a right hand. Nice body kick there by Regan. Regan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crain swats him away and circles back towards the center. Regan misses with an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Regan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Crain. A nice inside leg kick there by Crain. That's going to slow Regan down. Nice shot lands for Crain. Regan ducks under a wild hook from Crain. Crain throws a sloppy head kick and Regan moves out of range easily. Regan throws a head kick but Crain moves out of range.
Regan wants to clinch but Crain slips to the side and Crain cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Regan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A kick lands to the mid section there for Crain. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Crain misses with a body kick. Crain throws a body punch but Regan moves out of range. Regan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Crain dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Crain fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Tyler Crain seems to be getting the better of the standup. Crain throws a nice looking combination but Regan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Regan tries to clinch but Crain moves away and Crain counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Regan avoids the head kick by Crain.
Crain pushes Regan away with a front kick. Regan checks a leg kick nicely. Jimmy Regan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Crain tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Regan is able to avoid easily. Regan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Crain throws a body kick that misses. Crain throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Crain throws a good cross that connects.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crain throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Regan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Crain catches Regan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's one minute gone in the round. Regan tries to clinch but Crain moves out of range. Crain misses the jab. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Crain. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Regan takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Good work by Regan as he checks the leg kick. Regan throws a right hand that Crain ducks under and follows up with a left that Crain also avoids with ease. Crain cracks Regan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Crain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Crain looks to land a combination but Regan avoids it well. Crain thumps Regan with a low kick. Crain fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Crain throws a sloppy head kick and Regan moves out of range easily. Crain lands a glancing blow to the side of Regan's head. Tyler Crain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crain punishes Regan's body with a nice straight punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Regan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Crain circles away from the clinch attempt.
Regan throws a push kick but Crain slaps the foot to one side. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Regan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Regan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Crain. Crain with a jab. Crain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Crain throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Regan's head. Regan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Regan tries to clinch up but Crain circles away and keeps his distance. Crain feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Regan's calf. Crain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Crain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Crain throws a lazy body kick and Regan counters with a flying knee. Nice. Crain connects with a single shot there. Crain tries to land a front kick but Regan steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Crain throws a leg kick but Regan moved away. Regan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Regan misses with a head kick.
Crain swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Regan counters with a big head kick but Crain shrugs it off. Regan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Crain.
Sloppy strikes from Crain. Those never looked like landing. Crain circles away from the clinch attempt and Crain counters with a straight right hand.

Regan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Regan swinging wildly here.
Crain throws a hook but Regan avoids it easily. Crain moves into range and connects with a jab. Crain fails to land with a series of punches.
A head kick misses from Regan. Crain ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Crain scores with a leg kick.

Crain fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Regan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Regan moves in looking to clinch but Crain pushes him off. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Regan walks into a jab. Regan wants to clinch. Regan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Regan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Crain has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Regan is looking to clinch but Crain is avoiding it.
Regan tries to clinch but Crain moves out of range. Crain jabs Regan to the body, keeping him at a distance. Crain stalks Regan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Regan's face. Regan staggers backwards, shaken. Crain fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Regan. Regan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crain throws out the jab. Crain turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Regan moves out of range of the strikes. Crain misses with a head kick.
Regan closes the distance but Crain moves to the side and Crain makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Crain is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Regan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crain. Crain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crain thows a body kick. Regan tries to catch it but that hurt him. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Regan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Crain has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Crain and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Regan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Regan takes a kick to the side of the head. Crain throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Regan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crain. Regan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crain.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A kick lands to the mid section there for Crain. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crain with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Crain buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Crain throws a head kick but Regan moves out of range.
Regan takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. A bone on bone clash there as Regan blocks the leg kick.
A jab from Crain does it's job there. Regan moves in looking to clinch but Crain pushes him off. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Regan ducks under a wild hook from Crain. Crain misses with a body kick. Crain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Regan will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Crain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Regan.

Crain looks to land a right hand but Regan moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Regan is looking to clinch. Crain throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Regan throws a combination that misses and Crain counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Regan is lucky that one didn't land flush. Regan defending well as Crain loads up on a big left hand. Jimmy Regan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Regan is looking to clinch. Crain throws a hook but Regan avoids it easily. Crain feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Regans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Crain. Regan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Crain eats them both and turns towards Regan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Crain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Regan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Crain paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crain lands a nice looking body kick. Crain avoids a kick to the body.
Crain throws a head kick that misses. Regan moves out of range of the strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crain looks to land a combination. Regan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Crain connects with a high kick. Regan closes the distance and lands a one-two. Regan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Regan slips a jab and a cross from Crain.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Crain digs a good hook to Regan's body.
Nice straight punches there by Crain. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Crain. Crain lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyler Crain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Crain has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
