Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bon Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aran Samonte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - It's a Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock N' Roll) . Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Scott shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Samonte as he jumps to the side.

Samonte closes the distance and pushes Scott back into the cage.
Scott changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Samonte fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bon Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Scott fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Samonte has Scott pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Samonte pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Scott tumbling to the mat - Samonte dives into Scott's guard.

Samonte is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Samonte wants to control from the top but Scott keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Aran Samonte.
Samonte stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Samonte wants it to stay on the feet.

Samonte closes the distance and pushes Scott back into the cage.
Samonte has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Samonte manages to pull guard.

Samonte is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Scott is aware though and is defending well.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Samonte holds on and takes a little breather.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Scott wants to pass the guard but Samonte is keeping the position.
Scott won't allow Samonte to get back to his feet.

Scott thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Scott is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Scott is looking to work some ground and pound but Samonte has wrist control.

Scott passes Samonte's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Scott is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Samonte really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Scott is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Samonte can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bon Scott tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
