Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Bee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atkinson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fireproof. Tom Bee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jason Atkinson's chin.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bee gets the takedown into side control.
Atkinson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Bee tries to pass the half guard into mount. Atkinson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Atkinson pushes Bee off looking to stand but Bee dives back in and keeps control.
Atkinson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bee is working away from the top position though.

Atkinson wriggles free and stands up.
Bee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Atkinson tries to avoid it but Bee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Atkinson to the ground. Atkinson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Atkinson as he jumps to the side.

Atkinson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bee did well to prevent Atkinson getting side control.
Bee wants to control but Atkinson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Atkinson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bee is looking to control Atkinson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bee avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Atkinson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bee tries to get out of the position.

Atkinson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bee sees it coming and defends easily.

Atkinson is stalling here. Bee is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Atkinson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bee has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well Bee has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
